Brief
Create a flexible outdoor area for this busy family that love entertaining. The client wanted to create another sitting room that linked the kitchen and lounge area. It needed to be versatile, comfortable and cosy all year round especially in winter months using the outdoor fireplace. In the process, they also wanted to update all furniture to lounge and dining areas, indoor and outdoor after 20 years.
Outcome

Custom-made aluminium bi-fold, sliding shutters were installed with a flush-mounted track. It was carefully recessed into the sandstone existing pavers, this is what created a seamless look with no trip hazards when open.

We retained the beautiful existing solid timber dining table and selected quality furniture that would stand the test of time. Dining chairs; lounges, custom-made swivel feature chairs and all outdoor furniture was selected.

The home was then styled using the client's precious items which had never been displayed before from all their many years of travel.
