Brief

The retired couple wanted to build their dream home. Hampton inspired style, low maintenance, minimal but warm and inviting to cater for when the extended family and grandkids come to stay.

Providing advice and consulting between the home owner and builder APC Build, Angela was engaged 6 months during the build's lockup stage, through to completion and handover.

She was appointed to select bathroom tiles, advise on tile layout, assist in selecting bathroom accessories, carpet selection, wall colours, joinery colours, stone selection, timber floor stain, light fittings, outdoor paving and layouts. She reviewed landscape drawings and was responsible for all furniture selection, homewares, artwork purchasing as well as supplier liaison, delivery and placement.

Angela also created a layout to showcase 33 family photos on a gallery wall (a main focal point when entering the home). This was an initial project prerequisite from the owner and required collating and carefully selecting the family photos from multiple collections in their previous home and then having them all reprinted, resized and reframed. Angela envisioned them all being in the one area so the owners would be proud to share their precious memories with their guests - family and heritage is everything to them.

Pavone + Co were also engaged to supply and install all window furnishings, security doors and retractable fly screens.

Outcome

Plantation shutters throughout the home for the Hampton inspired style
Wireless and USB-chargeable motorised blockout blinds were used in the dining area and concealed with a painted pelmet
S-Fold sheer curtain in the lounge area to create softness and differentiate spaces in the open plan living
Interior design direction by Angela to create a custom home, warm and inviting that was perfect for the whole family and their needs.
Angela consulted and advised her expertise to the homeowner when they were unsure what to select - and to fit within a time frame and budget.
